When it comes to Inspection, the SnapInspect Inspections tab on the Mobile App comprises of two main subtabs - The Inspections tab and the Schedules tab.
Inspections tab
Completed
Uploaded
Inspections that have been completed and uploaded to the server.
These are now available to view on the web app.
Please Note:
SnapInspect’s mobile app works offline, meaning all inspections are stored locally on the device where they are started. If you log in and out between accounts on the same device, you will still see inspections from each account, as the inspection data is stored by device, not by account.
If the Uploaded tab is empty but you have inspections in your In Progress tab, you need to click into the inspection and mark it as Complete. This will move it to the Completed tab, where you can choose from options to Upload one or Upload All to move the inspection into the Uploaded tab.
Schedules Tab
Scheduled - Today, Weekly, Monthly, Upcoming
Inspections that have been scheduled or assigned to you but have not been started yet.
If you have inspections scheduled, check here first before starting a new inspection.
Please Note:
If you're expecting to see a scheduled inspection but it's not in your schedules tab, you can schedule the inspection yourself. CLICK HERE to learn how to add inspections to your schedule.
Scheduled - Overdue
These are scheduled inspections that have not been started and have passed their scheduled date.
Depending on your account's setup, overdue scheduled inspections may have reminders tied to them to let you know that action is required.
If you've completed the inspection but you're receiving email reminders to complete the inspection and see the scheduled inspection or stuck here in the overdue section, you can close it through the WebApp. Click HERE to learn how to close the schedule.
