In the SnapInspect mobile app, you can easily copy a completed inspection, make necessary adjustments, and save it as a new inspection under the same or a different inspection type. This feature streamlines the process for inspections requiring only minor modifications, saving you time and ensuring efficiency.
How to Copy an Inspection
Select the Relevant Asset: On the main assets page, choose the asset you want to work with.
Scroll down to the Uploaded Inspections section and click the blue sync button to retrieve all previously completed inspections for the selected asset.
Select the inspection you want to copy.
In the pop-up menu, choose Copy Inspection from the list of available options. This action allows you to create a duplicate of the existing inspection for further modifications.
Decide whether you want the inspection to be copied with or without photos.
Select the appropriate inspection type from the available options.
Carefully review the copied inspection to identify any areas that may need adjustments or updates. Proceed to make any necessary edits to ensure the inspection is accurate and complete.
Once you’ve completed all your edits and are satisfied with the changes, tap Complete in the top-right corner to finalize the inspection. This action will save your modifications and mark the inspection as Completed Inspection.
After finalizing, scroll to Completed Inspections and click the cloud icon to upload your edited inspection.
Please Note:
To copy an inspection from one inspection type to another (e.g., Move-In to Move-Out), both inspection types must be linked to the same checklist.
