The Request Inspection feature allows companies who use SnapInspect to invite external parties (such as tenants, contractors, or third-party inspectors) to complete an inspection without needing their own SnapInspect account. This makes collaboration smooth, fast, and highly efficient. If you've received an email asking you to start an inspection, this guide will show you how to start your Request Inspection - which does not require you to login using credentials like username and password. Simply start the inspection from the "Start" button in your email after downloading the app, and you'll be able to begin the inspection.

The Request Inspection feature requires an internet connection to work. Please make sure you're connected to a stable network before proceeding.
SnapInspect Request Inspection Feature
The request inspection feature allows you to run a quick inspection based on the requested organisations requirements. If you have any questions about the inspection process or inspection requirement, it's important to reach out to the person or company who requested this as the SnapInspect team won't have authority to make the changes.

To start a Request Inspection:
Download the SnapInspect 3 mobile app (do not open the app or try to login - you'll get access directly through the email link in the next step).
Navigate to the email that contains the "Request Inspection" start button, and select "Start" in the email.
βFollow the steps to complete your inspection.
βClick "Complete" once you're ready to upload
βIMPORTANT NOTE: You won't be able to edit the inspection once you hit complete, so please only select this button once you've finished running the inspection.
βSelect "Upload Now" to confirm the upload.
Please note: There are three ways to start an inspection.
1. Clicking the "Start" button from the email.
2. Starting from the QR code - simply tap and hold the SnapInspect logo in the login screen to open the scanner.
3. Sharing the QR code directly. Open the email and locate the QR code attachment, then press and hold the QR code (on Android, tap the QR code, then tap the three dots in the top-right corner), then tap "Share" and select "Copy to SnapInspect 3."
