Ensure the Contact Type exists
Ensure the Asset(s) exists
Navigate to "Company Settings" > "Integrations" > "Email Import"
Choose "Contact" and click "Add"
Add Notes as an identifier for this import, Select Update, and copy the Recipient Email
Prepare the file by exporting from Assets and adding the [Contact Type] First Name, [Contact Type] Last Name, and [Contact Type] Email. Click "Save" and "Update".
Compose a new email, and paste the copied "Recipient Email" into the recipient field, then upload your prepared file, and click "Send"
Go back to SnapInspect and click on Logs. Ensure the log exists before proceeding.
Once you can see the log, continue to mapping. Select "Setup" > "Refresh Mapping" and map the correct fields. Ensure to map address field for units. Click "Save" > "Update"
Complete step 8 again to re-send the email, using the same "Recipient Email" and same File attached.
Confirm that the Log has updated
Verify the update by checking the Asset's Contact Type is populated.
