How does SnapInspect manage asset-related contacts with occupancy periods?
In SnapInspect, you can add contacts related to your assets and assign them Occupancy Periods. This feature allows you to set a start and end time for each contact, automatically making them inactive once the specified time frame has ended.

Creating a New Contact Type and Occupancy Period.
If you need to create a new contact type for your asset or set up an Occupancy Period for an existing or new contact, follow this guide:
Go to the Company Settings tab within the SnapInspect Web App.
Select Settings, then choose General Settings
In the Inspection box, click View/Edit next to Additional Contact Type.
βCreate a new contact type by selecting 'Add New. '
βOn the right side of the box, modify the contact type preferences.
Add a label and set it as the primary contact type if desired.
Activate the Occupancy Period by selecting the checkbox if needed.
Click Add in the bottom-right corner to save your changes.
How to Add a New Contact
Navigate to the Assets tab within the SnapInspect Web App.
Locate the asset you want to add a contact to, click the green Action dropdown button next to that asset, and select 'View/Edit Asset'.
βSelect the Contacts tab on the left, then click the green 'New Contact' button.
βEnter the contact's First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Mobile, and Contact Type.
Enter the dates for the occupancy period associated with this contact type (If Applicable)
Click the Add button to save the contact.
How to Archive a Contact
Archive a contact if you need to deactivate them, ensuring they no longer receive future emails or notifications.
Navigate to the Assets tab within the SnapInspect Web App.
Locate the asset with the contact you want to add an occupancy period to, click the green Action dropdown button next to that asset, and select 'View/Edit Asset'.
Select the Contacts tab on the left, click the 'Archived' button, and 'Update'
To view the archived contact, check under the Inactive tab.
