SnapInspect's email import feature allows you to automate daily updates of your contacts, assets and schedules using CSV files. By setting up email automation, your Property Management System can send emails with tenant, owner, unit, and property directories directly to a designated SnapInspect email address. This keeps your SnapInspect account consistently updated with the latest information.
Please Note: If your Property Management System does not support email automation, the process will become manual and may not be useful for frequent updates.
Where do I Set Up the Email Import
Go to the Company Settings.
Select Settings from the navigation bar and select Integrations.
Click the Configure Email Import button.
How to Set Up Email Import
Click Add New, select whether you want to import assets, contacts or schedules and click Add.
Set up a daily automated email from your PMS or CRM system to the designated SnapInspect email address and attach the CSV file to be imported.
Mapping the Email Import
Once the email is sent, wait for a minute and select the blue Setup button.
Click Refresh Mapping to load the data fields.
If any fields need adjustment, click on the area, and a dropdown will appear for selection.
Once you’ve verified the mapping is correct, click Save and then Update to finalize the setup.
Please Note: The columns highlighted in red are mandatory for the import to work correctly.
