Uploading and Annotating Blueprints

SnapInspect's Blueprints feature lets you upload, annotate, and access blueprints during inspections. Inspectors can drop pins, measure areas, and include annotated blueprints in the final report.

How to Upload Blueprints

  1. In the SnapInspect Web App, go to the Assets page.

  2. Click the green Action button next to the asset you want to add a blueprint to.

  3. Select View/Edit Asset.

  4. In the sidebar, click on Blueprints.

  5. Click β€˜+’ and upload your blueprint file.

Please Note:

  • Blueprints must be uploaded in JPEG, PNG, or PDF.

Annotating the Blueprints

  • When you are annotating blueprints you will use the sidebar shown below:

  • Circle Icon: Change annotation colors for clear visual distinction.

  • Line Width Icon: Adjust the thickness of annotation outlines for better visibility.

  • Shapes Icon: Access a variety of annotation tools, including Text, Arrows, Lines, Rectangles, Custom Shapes, and Circles.

  • Hand Icon: Use to pan and navigate around the blueprint.

  • Ruler Icon: Measure accurately with standard rulers and customizable measurement tools.

  • Cursor Icon: Select and modify existing annotations.

  • Plus Icon (+): Zoom in to examine finer details.

  • Minus Icon (βˆ’): Zoom out for a broader overview.

  • Trash Icon: Remove selected annotations when needed
