Uploading and Annotating Blueprints

With SnapInspect's Blueprints feature, you can easily upload your blueprints, which can then be annotated and accessed during inspections. Inspectors can drop pins to pinpoint issues in specific areas, measure the areas, and pull annotated blueprints can be pulled into the final report.

How to Upload Blueprints

  • On the Navigation Sidebar select Assets

  • Find the Asset You Want to Upload a Blueprint for and Select the Green Action Button

  • Select View/Edit Asset

  • Choose Blueprints in the Sidebar

  • Click + and Upload a Blueprint

Please Note: Upload the Blueprint as a JPEG file

Annotating the Blueprints

When you are annotating blueprints you will use the sidebar shown below:

  • Circle Icon: Adjusts the color of your annotations for easy visual distinction.

  • Line Width Icon: Adjust the width of the shape's outline.

  • Shapes Icon: Offers a variety of annotation options, including Text, Arrows, Lines, Rectangles, Custom Shapes, and Circles.

  • Hand Icon: Enables panning to move around the blueprint.

  • Ruler Icon: Provides measurement tools, including standard rulers and custom measurement options for accurate dimensions.

  • Cursor Icon: Selects and edits annotations.

  • Plus Icon: Zooms in to view details.

  • Minus Icon: Zooms out for a wider view.

  • Trash Icon: Deletes selected annotations as needed.​
