  • Priority level

  • Inspection context

  • Any notes or instructions

  • Additional custom information if set up (CLICK HERE to learn how to set up task custom fields)

  • Any subtasks associated

Sending the task to a third party

There are 2 ways to send the task to a third party.

Method 1: Send via Email

Send your third party an email containing the task details and a link to the task URL.

  1. On the webapp, navigate to the 'Tasks' tab.

  2. Click 'Action' on the task you want to send out.

  3. Select 'Send Email'.

  4. Enter the recipients email, and click 'Send Email'

  5. The 'View Details' button will allow the recipient to open the tasks and add photos, comments and mark it as complete.

Method 2: Send via Task Link

Send your third party an email containing the task details and a link to the task URL.

  1. On the webapp, navigate to the 'Tasks' tab.

  2. Click 'Action' on the task you want to send out.

  3. Select 'Task Link'.

  4. From here, you can share this link with your third party, allowing the recipient to open the tasks and add photos, comments and mark. Please note - sending it via the task link will not allow the recipient to 'Complete' the task.

How sending tasks helps:

  1. Faster task completion - vendors get all details upfront

  2. Less back-and-forth - no need to resend information

  3. Better collaboration - everyone works from the same task

  4. Improved accountability - clear ownership and progress tracking
