The Request Inspection feature allows external inspectors to conduct inspections via an email link without needing a SnapInspect login.

To use the Request Inspection feature, it must be enabled for your account. If you’d like to activate this feature, please contact the team at support@snapinspect.com.
How to Request an Inspection
In the SnapInspect Web App, navigate to the Assets tab.
For the asset you wish to inspect, either click the blue '+' symbol under 'Request Inspection' or click the green Action button to the right of the asset. From the dropdown menu that appears, select 'Request Inspection.'
After clicking the plus symbol, you will be taken to a form labeled “Request Inspection.” Complete all the required fields in the form, including details such as:
Address: The Location of the Asset.
Inspection Type: The type of inspection being conducted.
Requested By: The person creating the inspection request.
Recipient Name: The inspector's name.
Recipient Email: The inspector's email address.
Expired Date (Optional): Set an expiration date for the request if needed.
Notes: Include any additional information or instructions for the inspection request.
Click 'Send Request' to submit your inspection request.
How to View Sent Request Inspections
Navigate to the Schedules tab in the SnapInspect Web App.
At the top of the Schedules page, click on Request Inspection List. This will display all inspections that have been requested.
Use the available filters to organize and narrow down your list based on specific criteria. You can filter by:
Property Address
Inspection Type
Expiry Date
Inspector
Recipient
Status – Filter between Active and Completed inspections
