The comments function is quite similar to that of the Notifications function. These two features interact together as one bigger function. If you want to see what the Notifications function is all about please go HERE to view the guide on this function.

Comments give you the ability to leave a message to a team member by simply tagging them in an inspection. This can come in handy when you need to ask them questions or even give them a nudge for an update on specific information regarding the inspection. Perhaps you might want to tag your maintenance team to let them know of issues that may require attention urgently like a broken window.

To be able to view the comments you must first be logged into the Web-app. Here is where you will have access to the information regarding Comments.

As soon as you have logged into your Web-app account, you will need to go to the "Inspections" tab. From here you will be able to view all the inspections that you have access to. You will need to click on the green "Actions" button on the specific inspection report you wish to view comments for.

When you click on the "Action" button you will need to click on "Comments" from here you will be presented with a new window of all communication for this inspection report.

Here you can View the Inspection (this will take you to the Edit Inspection window) or Send a message to that specific individual or team. To tag an individual to create them a notification, please use the @ sign and then their name

This is a quick guide on how to use the notifications. If you have any further questions or require further assistance, please contact support@snapinspect.com
