See Task Creation Directly on Your Report

Your report can show when a task was created from a Quick Task - so nothing gets missed and everyone stays in the loop.

Updated today

SnapInspect makes it Easy to track actions taken during an inspection

When completing an inspection, if you create a Quick Task, the final report can now clearly indicate that a task was created against this item. Learn more about Quick Tasks here.

This setting gives better visibility to:

  • Property managers

  • Inspectors

  • Tenants or owners reviewing the report

No more guessing whether an issue was followed up - it's all right there in the report.

How to Enable It

Turning this feature on is simple:

  1. Go Checklist > Inspection Type > Report Settings

  2. Click into your template, and in the config (right hand side) panel, scroll down to find the option: “Display task item with icon”

  3. Enable it

What You’ll See

Once enabled:

  • Any future inspection that's created will display a WO# column, with a task icon against any items where a task has been created.

  • This visually highlights that action has been created for that item.

Note: Quick Tasks must be enabled in the settings for each rating, and must also be assigned to the inspection type. Please CLICK HERE to learn more about how to configure Quick Tasks.
