Analytics dashboards allows you to turn your account data into clear, visual insights. Easily create custom reports using pre-built widgets designed around common use cases such as inspections, ratings, work orders, & scheduling.

How SnapInspect Analytics Help

Analytics reports in SnapInspect help transform your inspection, work order, and scheduling data into clear, actionable insights. By creating custom pages and selecting from pre-built charts, you can monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions with confidence. Dashboards update automatically as your data changes, giving you a real-time view of what matters most to your operations.


Analytics is an additional feature within SnapInspect. If you don't currently have access, please contact us at support@snapinspect.com to have this activated.


How to use Analytics

To learn how to create your Analytics follow the steps below:

  1. Create a New Page

    1. Navigate to the Analytics tab.

    2. Select Create New Page.

  2. Enter Page Details

    Provide the following information:

    • Page Name – A clear, descriptive name for your report (e.g. Inspection Performance Overview).

    • Page Description – Optional, but recommended. This helps explain the purpose of the dashboard to other users.

    Once complete, select Create Report.

  3. Add Charts to Your Report

    After creating the page, you can add charts (widgets) to visualize your data.

    1. Select Add Chart.

    2. Choose from one of the available analytics categories:

      • Item Inspection Analysis

      • Item Rating & Pricing Analysis

      • Work Orders

      • Schedule Analysis

        Each category contains pre-defined widgets such as:

        • Top inspected areas or items

        • Inspection status breakdowns (Pass / Fail / Needs Attention)

        • Rating trends by area or item

        • Task counts, statuses, and overdue work orders

        • Schedule completion, inspector performance, and asset summaries

        1. Select the widget(s) you want to include.

        2. Click Save.

      πŸ’‘ Tip: Each widget is designed for a specific insight. You can mix and match multiple widgets on a single page to create a comprehensive dashboard.

  4. View and Use Your Dashboard

    Once saved, your chart will appear on the report page. Repeat the process to add additional charts as needed.

    Your analytics dashboard updates automatically based on your data, allowing you to:

    • Monitor performance trends

    • Identify high-risk or high-activity areas

    • Track inspections, tasks, and schedules at a glance
