Navigating the Webapp with Corporate Regional Access

The Corporate Regional Access role in SnapInspect makes it easy to manage multiple regions or states using a single login. This guide walks you through how it works on both the web app and the mobile app.

Web App: Logging In & Switching Between States

As a user assigned with a Corporate Regional Access role, when you log in, you’ll land on a screen that that has the following menu options:

Company List:

From here, you can view all of the view the regional accounts you have access to.


Choosing the Action button on the right hand side allows you to view the account info, its users, the assets and completed inspections.


Info:

Allows you to view & edit account information, or the delete account.


Users:

Allows you to view the user information in that account, including their name, contact (email and phone) and their roles in SnapInspect.

Through the action button, you can edit user details (like name, number and role), Login as, and reset their password.


Assets:

Allows you to view all assets in this regions account, see their upcoming schedules, and view completed inspection reports.




Inspections:

Allows you to view a list of completed inspection reports and their information (like address, inspection type, inspection date, inspector and status. Clicking the Action button allows you to download the inspection in DocX or PDF format.

TIP: Use the filters to narrow down your list.




How to log in to a state

  1. Log in to the SnapInspect web app.

  2. On the state selection screen, choose Action on the state you want to open.

  3. Select Users

  4. You can now login as one of these regions users, by clicking Action and selecting Login As


    From here, you'll see the regions dashboard, just as normal.


When you're finished, you can go back to the state list and switch to another state anytime.

Regions

This provides a view of each company per region. Simply select the Region from the left hand nav menu to view associated companies.

Clicking the Action button lets you view and edit company Info, Users, Assets and Inspections.

Region Management

Here, you can add new regions, and view and edit the members of each region.


To add a new region:

Click New Region, and enter Region Name, Description (Optional) and choose Members.



To add or remove members in an existing region:

Click into the Members field to display a list of available members to select.

To remove members from a region, simply click the x next to the members name that you want to remove.


Users

Here, you can see all users who have corporate access, with their respective regions and roles.
The table includes Name, Phone, Email, Region, and Access Type (Config).

To add a new user:

Click New User and fill in the required fields. Email, First Name, Last Name and Permission are compulsory. Read more about the Permissions of the Role Types below:


Corporate User Role Types:

Corporate Admin

  • Has full access to both the Corporate Panel and all State Accounts.

  • Can manage all users (Corporate and State-level).

  • Only role that can add users to the Corporate Panel.

  • Not restricted to regions — full access across all.

  • No access to the mobile app (can be manually configured)

Corporate Manager

  • Must be locked to specific regions but has full access within assigned regions.

  • Cannot be locked to a specific role within a region.

  • No mobile app access by default (can be manually configured).

Corporate User

  • Same permissions as the Corporate Manager, except: Corporate Managers can add users to State Accounts from the Admin Panel. Corporate Users cannot — they can only add users directly within a State Account.

  • No mobile app access by default.

Corporate Inspector

  • Must be locked to specific regions — based on assigned regions, they automatically receive access to the multi-state login (allowing them to switch between states via the Web App and Mobile App).

  • Can be locked to: Specific or limited custom roles within assigned states and/or Specific property folders.

Assign / Remove regions from members:

Simply use the x or the + to add/remove a member from a region.

Edit User Information / Access:

Edit user information like name, permission and contact number by clicking on the Action > Edit User. Please note - emails cannot be updated.
