The My Tasks tab on the SnapInspect mobile app helps you stay organized and on top of your inspection and maintenance responsibilities. Whether you're inspecting properties, completing follow-up actions, or managing delegated tasks, this feature gives you a centralized view of what needs to be done - right from your mobile device.
What Is the "My Tasks" Tab?
The My Tasks tab is a personalized task manager within the SnapInspect mobile app. It shows:
Tasks assigned specifically to you
Tasks related to inspections for your assigned properties
Tasks scheduled by your company admin or manager
Where to Find It
Task View Options
You can view your tasks either in the task list, or in a calendar view. Simply select the "Calendar" or "My Tasks" tab in the top menu bar to navigate between the two views.
Task Information
The My Tasks tab makes it easy to scan the task list and understand what’s urgent and what category the task relates to.
Task Title e.g., "Repaint Exterior"
Priority Label e.g., Low, Medium, High
Category Tag e.g., Plumbing, Fire Safety
Due Date if assigned
Task Address
Status Initials shown in colored circles
+ New Task to add a task on the fly
Task Details
Tap any task to open the full view. Here you’ll find:
Title - What the title of the task is
Property address - Which address this task is for
Due Date - Due date assigned to the task
Managed By - Who manages the task
Status - Status of the task. This is customizable by your team
Priority - Priority of the task
Category - Which category this task belongs to. This is customizable by your team
Followers - Users that receive notifications and can edit/complete the task
Description - Task description
Photos - View and add photos of the task
Sub Tasks - View or assign or complete SubTasks that are related to this task
Task Custom Info - Areas for custom text or files related to the task. This is customizable by your team
Comments - Thread of comments which Manager and Followers have access to
Subtasks
You can also view and close subtasks from the main task's screen. Simply navigate to the subtasks section, and click on the checkmarks to mark the subtasks as completed.

Please note:
Your company can customize the Task Custom Fields to meet their workflow - like custom fields for quote comparisons, chosen vendors or external file uploads.
