Overview
SnapInspect integrates with AppFolio to simplify property inspections by syncing unit data, tenant details, and inspection results between the two platforms. This integration ensures accurate records, saves time, and reduces manual entry.
With AppFolio connected, you can:
Pull in properties, units, and tenant details directly from AppFolio.
Push out completed inspections, tasks, and work orders.
Note: The integration can also support push/pull on select fields. Contact us at support@snapinspect.com with your requirements, and an Integration Specialist will be able to assist you.
Requirements
Before setting up the integration, ensure you have the following:
Active SnapInspect account with administrator permissions.
Appfolio Voyager account with API access enabled.
Permissions in AppFolio that allow SnapInspect to read/write inspection and work-order related data.

Work together to connect AppFolio and SnapInspect.
Sync SnapInspect Grouped Tasks to AppFolio ServiceRequest
Grouped tasks created in SnapInspect can be synced to AppFolio as a grouped work order under the ServiceRequestID.
This keeps related maintenance items organized within a single work order and helps reduce work order clutter in AppFolio.

Access SnapInspect Inspection Reports from AppFolio Attachments
Access SnapInspect inspection reports directly from AppFolio attachments for synced Properties, Units, and Tenants.
By default, SnapInspect inspection reports are available in Maintenance → Inspections within AppFolio.
Inspection reports can also appear under the following areas
Property → Attachments
Unit → Attachments
Tenant → Attachments
This makes them easier to locate, manage, and share from the areas you use most.
To have inspection reports appear under Property → Attachments, Unit → Attachments, and Tenant → Attachments in AppFolio, please contact support@snapinspect.com.
Manually Sync AppFolio
Use Sync Now to manually sync your AppFolio integration without waiting for the next scheduled sync.
Navigate to Company Settings and open Integrations.
Find AppFolio and click Click to Setup.
Select the AppFolio connection name from the left-hand side.
Scroll to the bottom of the connection settings.
Click Sync Now to start the AppFolio sync.
Please note: If you have multiple connections or integrations configured, make sure you select the correct AppFolio connection before clicking Sync Now.
