Custom Inspection Title

The Custom Inspection Title feature allows you to assign specific, dynamic names to your inspections, making them easier to sort, organize, and identify. It also enables you to pull relevant data from your SnapInspect account directly into your inspection titles.

How to Enable Custom Inspection Title

  1. Go to the SnapInspect Web App and open Company Settings from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the Settings tab at the top of the page.

  3. Select General Settings and scroll down to the Custom Inspection Title section.

  4. Check the box next to Custom Inspection Title to enable the feature.

How to Set Up Custom Inspection Title

  1. To pull information directly from SnapInspect, you can insert parameters into the Custom Inspection Title field. The following dynamic parameters are supported:

  • [[Address 1]]

  • [[Address 2]]

  • [[Inspection Type]]

  • [[Inspector Name]]

  • [[Inspector Email]]

  • [[Internal Inspection ID]]

These fields will automatically populate with the relevant data during each inspection.

Example:

The format "Job - [[Internal Inspection ID]] - [[Inspector Email]]" will set the title as "Job" and display both the Internal Inspection ID and the inspector's email address on your reports and inspections.

  1. Once you've added your preferred format, click the blue "Save" icon next to the text box to apply your changes.
    ​
