How To Access Instructions
Instructions are visible only during inspections and wonât appear in your final reports, allowing you to provide detailed guidance without adding to the official documentation.
In the SnapInspect Web App, navigate to the Checklist section.
Select the Checklist (pencil icon) you want to edit.
Expand the Area or Item using the blue arrow on the left-hand side.
Click the three blue lines next to the Item or Area you want to add instructions to.
In the dropdown menu, select the option labeled 'Edit Instruction.'
How to Set Up Simple Instructions
Enter the instructions you want inspectors to see during an inspection.
In the provided text field, enter your instructions.
Be sure to press 'Update' to save your changes.

How To Set Up Advanced Instructions
In the provided instruction window, enable HTML to create more advanced inspection instructions using formatted text, images, lists, and other styling options.
In the instruction window, toggle on HTML.
Add your formatted instructions using text, images, lists, or other supported HTML elements.
Click Update to save your changes.
You can view the updated instructions in the SnapInspect mobile app during an inspection.
Please Note:
To display instructions, ensure Display Instructions is enabled in the Mobile App settings
If Display Instructions is not enabled, an (i) button will appear giving an option to display the instructions.
